Dear Sandy, I heard of Ronnies´ death from Susan Wohlbach tonight. You and your family have my deepest condolences. Although I didn´t know Ron well, my recollection of you dates to 1969 at Polyclinic Hospital where you were a nurse on Kline 2 and I was a greenhorn intern. We have been friends with the Bixler family for about 40 years. Our children grew up together as we grew closer together. Later, after the kids were on their own, we shared many trips together to Italy, France, day trips and an especially memorable trip to Niagara Falls. A trip to Normandy held many special memories as we traveled the route of Major Dick Winters of Easy Company and Band of Brothers fame.
