I’m so sorry to hear of his passing. He helped my family a lot when we list my brother to suicide. Edna was a good friend to my mom as they worked together for many years.

I learned of Pastor Blau passing just yesterday on a phone call from my parents. I attended St. Paul Lutheran Church when Paster Blau was my Pastor. I can tell you I always remember Pastor's smile, good nature and good sense of humor; a "Gentle Giant" of the Lord. I think fondly of Pastor Blau. I am sorry for your loss but know you rejoice in the fact that he has stepped out of time and into Eternity with the Lord. May God grant the family His peace and comfort during this time.

Steve, Tim, and Ladies - you may not remember me, but I had the privilege of saying your Dad was my Pastor at St. Paul Lutheran Church. One thing I will always remember about your Dad was his positive outlook he exuded. I never heard him complain about anything. He had the gift of not letting a person's flaws or failings get in the way of him seeing how God valued them as one of His children. This gift blessed my life, and I'm sure, the lives of many others as well. Peace to his family during this time of both sadness and joy.
