Not sure what to say?

Ron was a good man, a very committed person to truth and excellence, and a man unafraid to do his best at all times, regardless of the risk or the reward, or the cost. We had lunch almost every visit to State College and his unvarnished musings about PSU were fair, accurate, and insightful,

So sorry to learn of Ron's passing. He was a great guy and a wonderful sports writer. So glad I had the opportunity to know Ron.

Well done...RIP

So sorry to hear of Ron´s passing. The CDT and sports journalism have lost two legends this year in Ron and Doug McDonald.

So many laughs and good times at the Seedy T. He cracked me up with his "pigment of my imagination" and other quips. I was always L Fedon to him.

Jim and Janine, very sorry to hear of your loss our thoughts and prayers are with you. Terry and Betty Rudy

Thank you Ron for inspirational writing, reporting, ethical journalism, unending kindness, wicked sense of humor, fun and prankster. (Always checked our chairs and desk drawers). So proud of his family and communities. Big supporter of high school sports as well as PSU sports. A legend in Centre County, Central PA, and USA.

Ron was a great writer, a wonderful Centre Daily Times colleague and a real pal. Rest in peace my friend.
