Like Thoreau, Todd was at "home" in nature, God's world. He understood that "Heaven is under our feet as well as over our heads" which may explain his love of Cedar Mountain, his passion for hunting, and his joy on the water. Go home to God now, tender Todd, and be at peace. We'll miss you every day, but will know you're close each time the owl hoots; he's calling as I write this. My family sends its deepest sympathies to the entire Britton family. Although I grew up in Venice and knew of the Britton's family business for years I never had the opportunity to personally know the family, that is, until my family moved in next to Todd and Cheri about 8 yrs ago. I have been blessed with great people living beside me. My family has come to know Todd and Cheri as friends and they have always made us feel welcome from the time our kids were in diapers to now running around...
