Not sure what to say?

I didn't want to bother you at Ron's services, but I have to share a little story about him with you. Many years ago I was a workstudy student at RTC .I came back one evening to pick up something I forgot and had my then 3 year old daughter with me. She is now 26 years old. We ran into Ron and he bent down and said hello to her and she hid behind me. After Ron left I asked her why she wouldn't speak to him, her reply was "Mommy that man didn't have any hair on his head" Later when I knew Ron...

Ron was a dear friend to me for many years thanks to the internet. I am so heart broken to know that I will never be able to meet the man who promised to dance with me at my wedding, but I am so glad to know he is finally at peace.

We shared to many wonderful conversations that would last for hours upon hours ranging from relationships, to politics, to family, to even our interest in Eastern religions. He was an amazing friend and an extrodinary man. I have been blessed to have...

I’ve heard so many stories of Ron this week and most started with “when I came to RTC Ron was there to help me”. From someone who had co-worked with Ron you’d hear he supported, advised, listened, taught and counseled. Everyone should be remembered with such nice words. Ron and I both joined, what was in 1977, a small close knit RTC work family. We had been co-workers for many years when I went through a life change into the role of single parent. Ron lent the patient ear of a friend and...

To Ron's Family,
I have been truly blessed to have Ron is an exceptionally wonderful friend for almost 23 years. We shared too many conversations to count, enjoyed many movies, plays, dinners and breakfasts together, and also worked together at RTC. Ron was much admired by his colleagues and students for his ability to 'fix' any problem, no matter how small or big. He was never too busy to listen if you needed to confide in him and you could trust that whatever was shared would not be...

Uncle Ron was such a special man and I will miss him greatly. Besides being cousins, Ron and my dad (John O'Rourke) were great friends. Ron's sparkling personality perfectly complemented my dad's more reserved one.
I will always be grateful for the time Ron spent with my dad during his final year with us in 2003, before he passed away.
I will especially miss Uncle Ron's knack for telling Hughes and McMullen family stories, and I will never forget the sparkle in his eyes or his smile!
