Ronald David Chadwick Roy – Ronald David Chadwick, 68, died March 18, 2010 in Roy. He was born March 31, 1941 in Ogden, Utah to Vaughn and Mary Elaine Crompton Chadwick. He married Cindi Nielsen and they later divorced. Ron was born with Cerebral Palsy and endured many challenges in his life. He enjoyed wonderful loving support from his family, who has always cared for Ron. He had many radio friends on his C.B. His call name was "Reggy" Ron was a member of the LDS Church and held the office of Elder. He worked at Desert Industries and at Enable Industries for many years. Ron lived at home until his father passed away and then with a sister in Hooper. He then moved to the Wide Horizon's Care Center in Ogden. Ron also lived at the "Futures Through Choices" Group Home in Roy, where the residents were like Ron's family. Due to Ron's health he was forced to move to Heritage Park Care Center in Roy until his death. He is survived by his siblings, Garey (Elaine) Chadwick of Bountiful, Barbara Perkins of Kaysville, Stan K. (Sherrie) Chadwick of Roy, Claudette Hoskins of Klamath Falls, OR, Tim E. (Lynnette) Chadwick of Ogden, Bryon "Skeeter" (Teri) Chadwick of Washington Terrace, Bonnie Newbury of Layton, Val S. Chadwick of Ogden, Sandy (Buzz) Kriger of Washington Terrace, John W. (Tina) Chadwick of Honeyville; he was loved by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and father; two brothers and two sisters, Vickie, Rickie, and John D. Chadwick and Joyce Lambeth Wright. The family would like to express our thanks and appreciation to the staff at Heritage Park and to the Applegate Hospice Care staff, especially Kerry Reed, for the kind and gentle care they gave to Ron. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at Myers Mortuary of Ogden, 845 Washington Blvd. Friends may call prior to the service from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Interment, Washington Heights Memorial Park.
