I worked with Ron´s father before becoming friends with Ron and his wife Gail after he retired and he joined our Saturday coffee gatherings. It was during these times he shared his vast knowledge of history and life. We all felt we not only enjoyed coffee, but we enjoyed enhancing our knowledge of history and it made us feel good to know. He certainly enjoyed sharing it. He had such a good retention of all the facts and never tired of sharing when ask. He will be greatly missed going forward.
