Ronald J. Claypool

Mr. Claypool was a wonderful man and my family often spoke highly of him years after we moved to Arizona. My dad, Bill Ball, and Mr. Claypool competed in many championship games together. It was the battle of coaching wits with such mutual respect and great sportsmanship. I had a wonderful time playing on his senior teams. He was a kind and patient leader who embraced family and generously included everybody in celebrating after each game -- win or lose. My father lost his life to cancer...

Mr. Claypool was a generous, kind person and an inspirational coach. He remains a large part of my childhood memories. His gentle disposition and constant encouragement made everyone strive to be their best. His leadership approach left a lasting impression on me; I will forever be grateful for his guidance.
