Not sure what to say?

I remember when Ron got the house that was formerly the Methodist Church parsonage, and moved it up the street. He turned it into apartments. I knew several people who lived in that house, and delivered papers to some of them there. Recently saw the house and it's been painted a different color, but still standing, just like his legacy.

I worked with Ron for 3 years when he successfully was in the advertiisng sales biz working for Petersen Publishing's Hot Rod, Car Craft, Motor Trend. He was not only the most professional ad sales madman, but the most friendly, happy-go-lucky guy in our office - top of the Hancock Building, overlooking the Playboy Club where one day he spotted 'bunnies' atop where the building tilted north for us all. He was a gentle-man, a great leader, and friend. Am sorry to learn of his passing 2 years...

Rest in power friend. Michael Sacco Chicago

He was the Best and very Positive about everything ❤
Our family misses him very
Much especially for dinner on
Sundays. RIP dear friend!

Ron was a dear friend and we worked together on many racing events together! He was such a friendly person, I never saw him
Angry! RIP Ron, say hi to all our friend over there on the other side!!!
Don

I got to know Ron years ago through my association with Don Garlits and the Museum of Drag Racing. Ron always seemed happy to see people and was an upbeat personality. He was very humble and seldom talked about his accomplishments driving the famous Hawaiian Funny Car and the Chi-Town Hustler as well as other drag cars in the heyday of drag racing. I will miss seeing him at Cordova every year during the World Series of Drag Racing. God Speed Ron.

It's been several years since I last saw Ron. He always came across as a "Gentle"man whose eyes lit up when speaking of his racing experiences and Kathy. He will surely be missed by his loved ones and the lives he's touched.

Ron, I have many fond memories of your Mom and I pushing your rail to start test. The police were there cause you had permission. Your Mom and I had so much fun. It was exciting for us and helping you. Huggggggggggs Jan (Colson)

I loved hearing the stories my Mother (Helen Colson) shared of Ron and his many adventures. God bless, Adam, Amber, Josh, Stephanie & the Heller kids
