As Callagh's parents, we offer our sympathy to Trinity and her family. My husband, Paul, is an avid model railroader, and spoke with Ron a number of times. We just made the connection between Trinity & her grandfather a couple days ago, and are sorry for your loss. We'll keep you in our prayers.

Dear Sherri and Family,

I was deeply saddened to learn of Ron's passing. I met him as a young girl when he and Dad began the long journey that was to become the Batten Kill Railroad. He was a remarkable individual and a true inspiration. Even as a young girl, I remember feeling that I was in the presence of extraordinary vision, intellect and optimism. He will always be remembered fondly and with great admiration.
