CRUPPENINK, Ronald Sampson - Of Grand Blanc, age 90, died Thursday, September 24, 2020 at his residence.
Private Funeral service will be held.
Cremation will take place following the service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Court Street Methodist Church.
Visitation 2-8 p.m. Monday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Ronald was born in Burton, Michigan on July 19, 1930, the son of the late Frank and Irene (Thompson) Cruppenink.
He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the American Legion Post #413.
He was also a member of Court Street Methodist Church and UAW Local #659.
Mr. Cruppenink was employed by General Motors for 33 years, retiring in 1980.
He enjoyed fishing, Euchre, the Tigers, horseshoes, bird watching and fish fries and was a motorcycle mechanic.
Surviving are wife, Sarah;
daughters, Kim Brosseau, Kerri Stebbins (Scott Munro) and Kelly Laubon (Ron) Laubon;
son, Kevin (Laurie);
granddaughters, Katie (Jon) Eich, Kassie (Patrick) Keeley, Nicole (Mark) Lauinger, Shannon (Chris) Dean, Trisha (Ryan) Adams and Mandi (Ryan) McClellan;
great-grandchildren, Eleanor Eich, Ethan Gottschalk, Alena and Nadia Baker, Taylor and Emmy Adams, Maxim Johnston, Sydney and Landon Dean;
sister, Vicki (Gerald) Seymour;
several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Shirley; sons, Keith, in 1968; infant twins, Keith and Joshua Stebbins, in 1979; siblings, Reverend Patrick Cruppenink, in 1989, Eleanore Cruppenink, in 1940 and Frank Cruppenink, in 2012.
