Dr. Ronald L. Marable, 67, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2016, on the 18th hole at the Henderson Country Club, doing what he enjoyed. He leaves a community of family, friends, patients, and colleagues to mourn.

In 1975, Ronnie joined his father, Dr. Hoy "Doc" Marable, in practice as a chiropractor at 13 South Main Street. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and an attendee of First Christian Church. Ronnie enjoyed volunteering many hours with the Henderson County athletes, golfing, horse racing, and spending time on the beach with family and friends. His greatest joy in life was his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Hoy "Doc" Marable, who died April 25, 2004, and Sara Marie Latta Marable, who died May 14, 2002.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Peggy W. Marable; two daughters, Lyndsey M. Womack and her husband, Dax, and McKenzie Marable, both of Henderson, Kentucky; one brother, Shelby E. Marable of Henderson, Kentucky; his sister-in-law, Kathy Marable of Henderson, Kentucky; three grandchildren who will miss their Papa, Baylee, Beckham, and Blake Womack; nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home. Dr. Chuck Summers and the Reverend Amy Cates will officiate. Entombment will be in Fairmont Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.

Contributions may be made to St. Anthony's Hospice or First Christian Church.

Pallbearers will be Bill Campbell, Tommy Dempewolf, Kenny Graham, Bill Latta, James P. Liles, Otis Walker, Dax Womack, and Zack Womack.
