Not sure what to say?

Rest in peace Ron and thanks for the memories and great music.

Ron Davis was first a great teacher and clinician. From there he became a great mentor and supported me completely as a new music teacher. As time went on he was always a source of how to get something accomplished. RIP dear Ron, Thank you for all you did for everyone you met.

I still miss Ron Davis. None of us who were privileged to be his students will ever forget him or ever be the same. He made made men and women out of raucous teenagers and inspired them to become the best they could be. I mourn the fact that we were not able to give him the tribute he deserved because of the pandemic. His music will live forever in our souls.

Besides working with him in school, I had the pleasure of being in the choir with my mom and Ron at the Congregational Church. Receiving the CD brought...

Mr. Davis was my favorite teacher by far. He had a way of drawing people in and making them feel part of whatever ways going on. He will be SO missed by so many students & I treasure the memories of chorus and FLHS (Class of 1965)

I had only two excellent teachers when I attended Fort Lauderdale High School (class of 1965) and Ron was one of them. I could fill the memory book with positive stories about how Mr. Davis dealt with students. What a great guy.

Thought of him often since my graduation from FLHS in 65. Was in his class when he came in and announced President Kennedy had been shot. He showed me how to see music which made it part of my life. Bye, Ron
