Im so sorry to hear about beloved husband. Christine Mathis a former co- worker at Old Kent Bank.

Hello, Dee. I'm so sorry about the loss of your dear husband. Your Old Kent Installment loan department, co-worker. Chris Mathis

Love and encouragement to Dee, Curt, Jennifer, and family. I have many stories and cherished memories of Ron as he has been a part of our lives for 30+ years. He was like our family and enriched us with his many talents. He had such a fine eye for art and introduced us to one of his favorite artists, Reynold Weidenaar. Ron was an excellent photographer with an artistic understanding of composition. He had such an ear for worshipful, sacred music and we spent hours listening to...

Ron was a dear neighbor, friend, and our children's substitute "Grandfather". He was always ready with a joke, and more important, a loving smile.

Ron has been part of my LaGrave family almost my whole life. Ron was consistently one of the most kind, forgiving, interested listener people that I know. May you find grace and peace in the memories you cherish and the legacy he leaves.

Dear Family: on Christmas Day is when Ron Day passes away. As the Christmas hymn says, "O tidings of COMFORT and JOY". So appropriate for the Homegoing of one of God´s chosen and beloved ones. Our comfort in life and in death: that we belong to Jesus our all-sufficient and Faithful Savior. And that brings joy even in times of grief. May you experience true Comfort and true Joy from the Holy Spirit as you fix your eyes on Jesus. (Ken)

Our entire family is sorry for your loss of Ron. We have so many memories of him and Anna when we were all at LaGrave many years ago. Best wishes to all of you: Dee, Curt and Jennifer, and family. Judy and Bob Schmidt (Now of West Des Moines, Iowa). Christina and Laura

Ron and Dee were such joys to meet early in the first morning worship. May God, who has blessed and will keep him until we meet again. Blessings until we meet again - ron
