Not sure what to say?

Back when Ike was in the White House, Ronnie Dever and I were great friends, members of what was back then referred to as Port Richmond street corner society. I think of him often, a nice kid who became a very decent and honorable man.

I had the pleasure of working with Ron at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard. You and your family are in our prayers. Joyce and I send our deepest sympathy to the entire family.

What can i say about "big ron",cousin and godfather that has not already been said. I feel that as sad as our family is at his loss, that the angels in heaven are truly celebrating. I am sure that when Ron got to the gates of heaven that the trumpets were playing and that all of our family that already passed were there to greet him. I know my Dad, Uncle Joe, Uncle Harry, Gregory and little Bobby were there to see him and as full of happiness as we were sad. Ron was a strong, smart, calm,...

My Uncle Ron was one of the coolest people i knew. I always loved when he taught me things about art and painting. I'll always remeber him, and how I used to call the house and he'd ask, "Whose this? Donna Marie Alberghetti?!" He was an amazing guy, and I'll always have him in my heart. I love ya Uncle Ron.

I'll always remember by Uncle Ron as the best father figure I'll ever have, not just my uncle. He had the warmest heart and most gentle personality. He always welcomed my entire family into his beautiful shore house. He always gave me great advice and looked out for me. I love you Uncle Ron, you will be missed by all.

I will always remember my Uncle Ron as my father figure, not my uncle. He had the warmest heart and the most gentle personality. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. I remember how he would ask me to stay at his beautiful shore house without hesitation, he opened his home to my entire family. I love you Uncle Ron, rest in Peace. You will be missed by all.

While at the shore my friend Darlene said lets go visit my brother-in-law Ron . Ron showed his beautiful art work , and he made me feel very welcome in his and Dottie's home. I tought what a kind gentle-man. I would like to extend my deepest sympathies and prayers to his family. My heart breaks for you at this sorrow.

When I think of my childhood Big Ron is always in my memories. The many summers I spent at his home, or down the shore, are fondly remembered.
I think of the patience he had with all of us young kids, and the calm, and safe feeling you felt when he was around. At six I was asked who my favorite cousin was and without hesitation I said Big Ron, because he is so nice. Sleep well Cuz. I love you and will miss you.

Ron was like a brother instead of brother-in-law and we will miss him very much, he has brought so much warmth and laughter in our lives, memories that will last forever.
