Feerick Funeral Home - Shorewood Obituary

Ronald G. Dimick, 74, passed away on April 24, 2024. A native of Michigan, he received a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Michigan University, and spent his career working in the printing industry in Milwaukee, WI. He loved being in Door County, reading, spending time on the water, and spending time with friends and family, especially his two grandsons. He firmly believed the best meals took at least a day to prepare.

Ron is survived by his wife, Mary Eileen, his daughters Julia Dimick and Ellie (Tim) Dimick-Heine, and his grandsons, Michael and James Heine. He is further survived by his brothers, Brian (Karri), Don (Marilyn), and Jim, and several nieces, nephews, and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Ed and Shirley Dimick, and one nine-pound dog who is no doubt thrilled to have her favorite person back.

Family will greet friends at Feerick Funeral Home on Thursday, May 2, 2024 from 4:00PM to 6:00PM with Remembrances at 6:00PM.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Door County Maritime Museum (https://dcmm.org) in Ron’s memory. The family wishes to thank Compassus and Ascension All Saints Hospital.
