Not sure what to say?

Ron was such a wonderful man to be related to as my brother-in-law. He would always make you feel like you were so special. Loving, generous and kind, he was a joy to be with. He really loved family and blessed our sons beyond imagination.

I met Ron at LAVC 1971 or 72. We stayed friends while I went to San Francisco and he to Baja. I remember his pottery, kindness, laughter and big heart. He had drove a blue and white Dodge van. He loved the ocean, obviously. I've been looking for him and sadly found this. If anyone in the family reads this, would you please reach out to me?

Truly a gentle giant. Sincerity and kindness could have been his middle names.

Ron Dorn was simply "one of the best". He was one of the kindest and most genuine people I have ever met ~ it was an honor to have known him.

He will always be loved by our entire family.

Ron was a great friend to have, I went to high school with him and had some great adventures in Baja.... Mike Perry

I had the pleasure of working with Ron at Fire Station 96, he on the A platoon and I on the C. We would always work overtime shifts and trade which made us co workers on either the truck company or the engine. Ron was strong and was an asset to our company. We battled many a fires from both inside and on the roofs of structures, brush fires and anything else that came our way. On the vollyball court, he was awesome and was a team player, whether on the court, or at a fire. I am proud to...

Ron Dorn circa 1970..no shirt, no shoes, no problem

Ron was the most generous and calm person I ever knew. Back in the early 70's we all shared living quarters. Boys dorm and girls dorm. I think he was the only one that didn't fight....he was actually, technically the man of the house! He gave of himself gladly and was always offering special gifts to the children and tickets to events and his guest quarters to stay in. He always had a chuckle and kind words. I will miss the Teddy Bear, Ron..xoxo
