Ronald “Ronnie” Dukes, 73, of Clermont, Florida (formerly Horicon, WI) passed away peacefully with his family by his side the evening of July 3, 2025 at Cornerstone Hospice, Clermont, FL following a short battle with his third bout of cancer.


He was born on July 4, 1951 in Toledo, OH, to the late Newton and late Jennie (Richardson) Dukes. He spent his early childhood in New York, moving to Wisconsin in 1961.


Ronnie was a graduate of Horicon High School’s class of 1969. He also graduated with his Bachelor’s degree from Marian College in 2003. Over the years he worked for Gardner Manufacturing, Wagner Casters and Wheels, Albion and Blickle.


He married the love of his life, Diane Bradell on November 1, 1980 at St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Horicon, WI. He was an avid sports fan especially of the Green Bay Packers (he was a proud shareholder) and the New York Yankees. He excelled in golf (proud of his 4 Club Championships and his 2 Hole in Ones) and bowling (proud of his 299 game.) He was a family man who loved his two children and 5 grandchildren. He enjoyed spending his time with family, especially at Disney World and was able to live his dream living in Florida the past 5 years. He was an active member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Clermont, FL.


He is survived by his wife of 44+ years, Diane. His children - Kimberly (Kevin) Rohloff and Roddy (Anneliese) Dukes. His grandchildren – Abigail Kranig, Brynn Rohloff, Caitlin Rohloff, Greyson Dukes and Adeline Dukes. His sister – Debra (Wes) Lindert. As well as nieces, nephews and other relatives.


He is preceded in death by his parents, sister – Darlene Riese and brother – Todd Dukes. As well as father-in-law and mother-in-law – Henry and Eunice Bradell and other relatives.


He will always be our Superstar!
