Not sure what to say?

Ballyconneely, Co. Galway, Ireland

Ron, what a devoted husband, father, brother-in-law, and uncle you were to the entire Shanahan clan. I don't know of too many other guys that would spend 10 days driving
his wife and her 2 sisters all over the west coast of Ireland!! I know that is wasn't the easiest terrain to drive in, and I'm sorry that the GPS took us through a field or 2!! That trip was a once in a lifetime experience, and I am forever thankful for your generosity, patience, and the fact that you wisely took out...

Our prayers are with the Eggert Family at this very difficult time. We both worked with Ron in the accounting dept. at Nielsen's many years ago. We have many fond memories of those days. God Bless.

Patrick and Linn Grum, Barrington, IL

My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. I have many great memories of Ron during our time together at Nielsen. I will cherish those times forever.

Our thoughts are with the entire Eggert family. Love Rene, Marjolijn, Jasper and Sophie Klomp (Malden, the Netherlands)

Our condolences go out to the Eggert Family. We have been next door neighbors of the Eggerts for 12 years and one could not ask for a better neighbor than Ron. I always knew I would see him with a smile on his face when he was putting his golf clubs in the trunk. God Bless.

Dear Chris and Family,
Though I dind't know Ron personally, I have had the priviledge of hearing you talk of your family through the many years that we have been colleagues and friends. I have always admired your family's loving dedication to one another. My love and deepest sympathy to you, Catie, and John.

Ron will be missed by all his buddies at the Arboretum Golf Club. I will miss him because we always meet in the annual club championship because we are same flight. He always bring a smile and always have a joke in his back pocket...Rest well Ron.

Ron was a wonderful man who enjoyed life and all the humor that goes with it. Our hearts and prayers go out to Christine, Catie and John. God Bless.

We thank God that we were finally able to meet Ron this past June. I've known Chris and her sis's for about 53 (?) years as we grew up together in B.G. Just meeting him once, he was a wonderful, kind, and very loving husband, father, brother, and good friend, indeed. He will be deeply missed by very many for sure. Sending much love and many prayers that our Lord continues to help and comfort you all through this very sorrowful time.
