Ronald was born on July 11, 1935 and passed away on Friday, August 16, 2019. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh and went on to a nearly six-decade career as a mechanical engineer, starting with Sauer and advancing to Schneider, Inc.; Pittsburgh Mechanical Systems; Bryan Mechanical; and SSM Industries. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Ron's name to Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic Allegheny Chapman , a fundraiser that supports Ovarian Cancer Research at Allegheny Health Network.
I always told Ron he was my "favorite ex-boss". We worked together from some time in 1977 to July of 1979 when I moved back to Ohio. I have since returned to Pittsburgh, and was looking forward to sharing occasional lunches with him. He told me he was "not feeling well", but did not emphasize the true meaning of that under statement. May his soul rest in peace with his beloved Connie.

Ron always had a way of brightening my day at SSM Industries,Inc. When he retired last year it was a joy to see him on his return visits to the company. May he rest in eternal peace and condolences to the Elloitt family.
