Our wonderful brother-in-law and friend. We love you Ron and miss you so much. It still seems unreal to us that you have gone from our lives. Life will never be the same without you. We will miss you forever, but will see you again one day, Charrie, Charlie and Family..xx

I am sure everyone will agree with me you will be sadly missed. Your contributions to the game of touch footy and family was a inspiration to everyone. One thing I will always remember is your hefty laugh and huge smile, but the best part was the enjoyable and great party nights in park street.

To the Etherden Family...I am deeply saddened and absolutely gutted that I couldn't be with you all to send off the Big Fella...Lord knows my future could have been a whole lot different had Ronnie not taken me under his wings. I remember Mr Etherden from when Kelly and I went to Park Avenue School then later on at Touch Football. He always said hello and stopped for a chat. My deepest condolences to his family
