Not sure what to say?

I think about Ron often and miss him very much. He died long before his time. Freddy, his nephew and my son, has taken over where Ron left off. He lives in the family home, rescued his dog, Jacki, is friends with Ron's friends, drives the old West Side Pattern truck and still has the garage so full of stuff there's no room for a car. I think Ron must be happy the way things turned out.

Just heard the news today. Ron was a great friend and loyal customer. He would frequently come to visit us at our shop. He had a great sense of humor and wit which We all enjoyed. He will definitely be missed.

Ron and Laura at Mikie's Wedding 11-12-13

Our hearts are heavy with the loss of such a wonderful friend and human being. Ron was full of life and he was very generous to all his friends and family. He was a kind soul with beautiful smile. We had a lot of laughs together. I will always be grateful to Ron for helping my brother Tom out during his illness and showing love and support to my nieces and nephews during the loss of their parents. He was a great friend to the Oravetz family. We all will miss him very much. Peace & Love...

Was a great person and an avid hockey fan. We went on hockey road trips together and it saddens me on his passing. We chatted at intermissions and he was a joy to be around. You will be missed Ron.

I met ron because he was my dads best friend. I called him my uncle Ronny. I have so many great memories of Hawks games and camping trips. You were a great man and you will be missed greatly by me. RIP uncle Ronny

I love u uncle ron. I will miss u lots.

I was fortunate to meet the men of the Evans family in the 1960s. Al, with his stories of the boxing world, Fred with his advice on fitness exercises, and Ron with his indomitable sense of humor all made my life fuller and more complete. I later did business with Ron at his fine pattern works shop and it was he who introduced my Dad and me to the micro beer brewing business, which started an adventure of its own.
I certainly will miss Ron and his fishing yarns and especially the twinkle...
