Ron Flaspohler was my Uncle and godfather. My siblings and I were always thrilled when Ronnie, Helen Jean, Rhonda, John and David came for a visit. We would all congregate at our Grandfather and Grandmother 's hone. So, lots of food, great stories, (usually told by Ronnie, Helen Jean or one of his siblings), and, of course, much laughter! Ronnie will be greatly missed.

Dr Flaspohler taught basic sciences to us Physician Assistant students in the 70's. Class act. Good instructor. Nice guy.

Part of our family left us with Ron's passing. He truly was the closest thing to an uncle that our boys had. There were Sunday breakfasts in the park, innumerable holidays shared with our families, and times at Ludington always sharing the joys of nature. He made an impression on many outside the WMU classroom. A gentle, soft spoken man of great character will be missed. We will enjoy the memories forever. Thank you Ron, may you Rest In Peace, and hopefully find Helen's hand to hold again.
