Still missing you in 2024 brother

Last week I lost my best friend of 62 years. We called him "The Great One" because he had the biggest and purest heart and soul of anyone we had ever met. He never complained and never had a bad word about anyone. He never asked for anything except maybe a smile and a good laugh. He loved his friends but most of all, adored his son, of whom he was most proud.

Although we only met a few times, I always felt like I knew Ron well. Ted would always tell me of the great times they had together. He had a warm heart and always a smile on his face. My thoughts and prayers are with his family

Ron and I grew up together as best friends...I miss him already. My only memories of him will be of his big warm smile and the smiles he put on everyones face. The extreme fun we had together and the road trips we took when we were younger. He loved his family always proudly telling us of Todds wonderful accomplishments.
