Not sure what to say?

It´s still hard to conceive that Ron is no longer with us. He was a force in the hospice movement for decades - at local, state and national levels. RIP, Ron. You are greatly missed by all who knew you.

I feel so fortunate to have worked with Ron on a variety of projects. Through Ron, I also got to meet and know his lovely wife Cheryl, who I am thinking of during this sad time. I enjoyed Ron's intelligence, kindness, passion for his work and love of sports (although as a Philly fan we had fun ribbing each other during football and baseball seasons). I will miss him dearly and send my condolences to his family and friends.

Just read the article that Ron has passed and left this world.Ron was smart ,kind and passionate about end of life care. I appreciate his expertise and how we all worked together in Florida Advocating for the best care.I was fortunate to have met and worked with Ron.Ron you will be missed .Janine

It was an honor and privilege to work with Ron on a recent project. He was a true professional and a historically significant leader in the hospice and health care world. On behalf of my colleague, Linda McMurrain, and our entire firm, M&A Partners, our blessings, thoughts and prayers are with you.

Ron was a great advocate of excellence in hospice and end-of-life care. I worked with him for several years and was proud to call him a colleague and friend. His intelligence, wit and vision made him excel in every endeavor. It was good to reconnect with him on social media because I hadn't seen him in nearly 20 years. He will be sadly missed in the many lives of people he touched over the years - including mine.

A dear friend and trusted colleague for more than 20 years, Ron Fried was a joy to work with and an honor to know. Things I will miss about Ron: His wry sense of humor. Comparing notes on the best ways to survive life in airports and hotels. Rubber duck races. Bemoaning the political fates. His probing questions that always sought to make something already good just that much better. That was Ron in a nutshell. So much better than merely good.

Ron was such a great mentor to me and was so full of life. He was respected by all who knew him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

I was honored to have worked with Ron through his dedicated support of NHPCO. He was kind and gracious to those of us on staff and his insight and humor will be missed by all. Sending love to his family and friends.
