Not sure what to say?

Dear Julie, Casey, and Bryan(Bo Bo),
What a joy it was to have known and worked with Bo! I remember the first night I was in Atlanta alone, in the big city as a grown up working girl from Oliver, Bo took me out to dinner and to a Talmadge party. You all know how much both of my parents, Bernice and J.D. Clarke loved and respected Bo. Bo's eulogy at Dad's funeral was very special to us all. And we learned that they were right to support such a fine and dedicated man for the offices he...

Julie - I was saddened to learn of the death of your father. I remember meeting him several times when I worked for you at MCG. He was always so friendly - a "real" person! May God bless and comfort you and your family.

So sorry to hear of the loss of one of the finest men I had the privelege of knowing while growing up. Mr. Ginn (as I always addressed him at the gas station when he stopped in), always had a smile for me. I still have the calendar that he endorsed to me all those years ago. I always enjoyed our conversations and his way of explaining politics to me. Our state has truly lost a fine politician and more than that, a fine man. My deepest sympathy to Casey, Julie and Bryan at this time.

Dear Casey, Julie and Bryan,
I just wanted you all to know how sad I was to hear of your dad's death. You may remember me from when we were all little. My mom and dad, George and Lenora (Tillman)Grumbles, were good friends of your parents all those years ago, in fact, your parents were my godparents. Both of your parents were always very special to me, although I had not seen either one of them in years. I was there in 1972 when your dad was elected into office...what a party that was,...

I was very sorry to hear that Bo had passed away. I interned for his congressional office for only a few months but the lessons that I learned there in that short time have stayed with me. Bo Ginn truly, truly cared about his constituents. Rest in Peace, Honorable Bo Ginn.

I MET BO WHEN I WAS PRESDENT OF THE ATLANTA CITY COUNCIL AND HE WAS HELPFUL TO ME WITH THE CITY'PROBLEMS.

To the Family of Bo Ginn. I am one of the many indebted constituents of your father who truly went the extra mile to be of assistance when we needed his help. In 1977, my son, Sam Hudson, age 26, was missing in a Wilderness area of Colorado and your father and Pres. Carter got the help my family needed to get to the bottom of what had happened. Sadly, the outcome was not the one we prayed for, but at least his remains were found and identified after a massive search, and we were given the...

I was so proud to have worked as an intern for Congressman Ginn and later for him at Ginn, Edington,Moore and Wade. He was such a kind sole and a true and thoughtful gentleman. While there were many thought provoking things that I learned from him at work it was the little things that i remember most. Mr. Ginn was an avid letter writer and I cannot not help but think of him each time i fold a letter, for he was the person who taught me to fold letters "correctly", with the salutation above...

WHAT A GREAT MAN WE HAVE LOST. MY MOTHER, LURA, THOUGHT THAT HE "SET THE MOON." I KNOW THAT THEY ARE, RIGHT NOW, DISCUSSING POLITICS WITH JESUS. YOUR LOSS IS HEAVENS GAIN AND HE WILL BE SORELY MISSED BY ALL. EVERYTIME HE CAME INTO OUR PRESENCE, HE WAS UPBEAT AND CONCERNED ABOUT OTHERS, AND NOT HIMSELF. HE LIVED A LIFE THAT WAS AN EXAMPLE FOR ANY YOUNG MAN TO FOLLOW.

OUR SYMPATHIES TO ALL OF YOU.
