Ronald A. Grenier, “Ronnie Jay” 75, of Pawtucket, passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Ann (O’Leary) Grenier. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Joseph and Alice (Godin) Grenier. Ronald had worked for Salois Dairy and Narragansett Busines Forms. He was the owner of the former Jay’s Music & Video. He was a singer in the Band, Ronnie and the Satellites, and was a disc jockey, known as Ronnie Jay.


Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Linda Delaive, Steven Grenier, and Ronald J. Grenier. He also leaves three grandchildren, Timothy Delaive, Tara Tartaglia, and Tayla Delaive, and his great granddaughter, Madeline Delaive. He was the brother of the late Roger Grenier. The funeral will be held Saturday at 9AM from the Costigan-O’Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in Saint Joseph Church of Holy Family Parish, 195 Walcott Street, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Friday from 5-8PM in the Costigan-O’Neill Funeral Home. Burial will be private.

I am sorry to hear of Mr. Grenier's passing. I have fond memories of the Grenier family when they moved onto Cute Street years ago. My condolences to Mrs. Grenier, Linda, Steve and Ron. You are in my prayers.
