I´m sorry to find out that Ron has passed away. He let me borrow his tools back in the day, and when he and Barbara would go fishing for trout, they would call me, and my son and daughter would take their wagon down to their house, and they would put trout in it for me. I will always remember them being so affectionate with each other. Ron treated Barbara like a queen. He would ride his bike everyday to visit her while she was at Mercy McMahon Terrace.

Ronny was a great guy and one of the best firefighters I had the privilege to work with. Early in my career we worked together at Station 3 at 19th and L streets, an active station that was known for structure fires, and Ronny could always be found on the nozzle deep inside. RIP my friend
