Mr. Hagaman was one of my favorite teachers in all my years at the Lima City Schools. He cared about his students. I learned a great deal from him educationally and in life. I'm sure he will be greatly missed. Hagaman family, I'm so sorry for your loss.

Judy, I came across Ron´s obituary just today. I´m so very sorry for your loss. If I am correct I believe he and my father, Robert (Bob) Carmean were teachers together at Lima Senior. I used to hear stories about the two of them from my dad all the time. My dad went on to teach at Wapakoneta and began the first DECA program at the school. Ron was a fine man a exceptional role model for many. Always friendly, upbeat and had a ready smile and kind word for everyone he met. A truly fine man and professional educator. A great guy to all!

Coach Hagaman arrived at Beaverdam High School in the Fall of 1959 as a classroom teacher and basketball/baseball coach. His impact as a leader and role model was the major reason for our teams having success and my career path. Many great memories of a special man!

I was very sorry to hear about this. Ron helped me out with a serious problem when I went to Lima Senior. He was a good man, and friend to everyone. Rest In Peace - Larry R.
