I've thought about Ron many times since he's passed. He pulled us through '81 season as a junior until he injured his hand and was a key factor in us making the playoffs. He was a great leader, unselfish and hard working. His memory leads me to smile and think about how much I enjoyed him and those 2 teams '81 & '82.

My sincere condolences to the entire Hamilton family. I was Ron's high school football coach at Powers and have very fond memories of Ron and his family. He was not, only a tough,hard nose player, but also an intelligent QB. I remeber him leading us to victory in games that we probably had no business winning. Particularly a hard fought Flushing game. I am so sorry to hear about Ron. I went to Powers with Ron. I always enjoyed his sense of humor. He was a great athlete, and an all around great guy! You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I'm very sorry to hear about Ron's death. I played sports with Ron at Holy Redeemer and Powers. What I admired most about Ron was his competative spirit and passion for winning! I've not seen Ron in a number of years but the years I did spend around Ron I had nothing but respect for him. He was a great guy!
