Ronald F. Hamilton

Ron was always positive , smiling and loving . I haven't known him long but for the time i have he was always so kind and welcoming to me . Sending lots of love to Robin and Maggie May you two be surrounded by lots of love comfort during this tough time .

Ron was one of my favorite people at Crater Lake Lodge that summer of 1972 working together at the Wineglass. He and I and two others shared a tiny bunk room on the top floor of the lodge looking out over the lake. I was ever grateful for his generosity in loaning me his car to get away for a few hours from our 7-days-a-week work schedule. He and Robin were a big part of what made that summer enjoyable.

I feel blessed to have known Ron and Robin for over 45 years. Ron was one of those people who always managed to put people at ease, and after a conversation with him, you would always be in a better place. And how blessed he was to have Robin and Maggie in his life. I will miss him.

Ron and I met at Standard Insurance Company in 1977 and became good friends. We both had a passion for steelhead fishing which we did together every weekend. Ron also enjoyed maintaining and manicuring his yard and working around the house. A group of us would have lunch together at Standard and were known as the "lunch bunch". We always enjoyed listening to Ron talk about such things like how he would trim the grass with scissors and meticulously paint his house with a one inch brush....
