Ronald Robert Helbach

Ronald Robert Helbach, age 74, of Lacombe, Louisiana passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on August 1st, 2021.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Evelyn Helbach. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Diane Helbach and their children; Michelle Cole, Tracey Helbach, Michael Helbach as well as their grandchildren; Bethany, Hannah, Bella, Tayler, Brayden, Aubrey, Landyn, and Danny. He is also survived by his brother, Donald Helbach and his longtime best friend, Louis Paretti.

Ronald worked for the New Orleans Fire Department where he retired at the rank of captain in 1989. In his free time, Ronald loved to fish and crab. Ronald will be greatly missed by family and friends and especially by his goldendoodle Bentley.

A memorial service will be held at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, 61030 Brier Lake Dr. Lacombe, LA 70445 on Tuesday August 17th, 2021 at 11:00 AM. Visitation at the church will take place from 10:00 AM until service time.
