Mr. Hermance was a fine man, who I feel privileged to have known I saw him last year at this time and thought he looked well and was "winning". I am very sad that that was not the case.
He left his mark on Hudson City, and will be missed.

I went to Notre Dame High School and St. John Fisher with Ron. His mother and my mother were friends. We grew up in Batavia together. I had not seen him in many years and only became aware of his banking success about 10 years ago, but I remember him as a good guy and a good classmate.
