Ronald Hirsch

So sorry to hear of Ron's passing. We had a lot of fun together, and he was special to me. He was a great musician.

Ron and my family met at a car show 15 years ago and were good friends with both of us enjoying and driving our American Motors cars. Ron always enjoyed showing us his cars at his house in Marshfield, and if he needed that rare part, I always would help him find it. We talked this summer a few times on the phone, but he never said he was sick, as this was the first summer we didn't get a chance to visit him at his home. So many of "Elmer's" patrons have left before him and have been waiting to hear a good polka.
In my memory book of photos Ron appears in many, entertaining us at events and family occasions. He knew how to turn a party into a fun party! Last time I saw him he was in town for his own family event. I remember him boasting about his family and bubbling with pride.
Ron is legend in my family and our deepest sympathy to the to his family.
