Ronald James Hurst

Please accept my deepest sympathies regarding Ron's passing. I was shocked and saddened to hear about it. Ron and I were close friends in high school and did "Superstar" together. We also dated after high school. I was at his memorial service today which was beautiful. Charlie did an outstanding job with Ron's eulogy. My husband and I were so impressed with how all of you do so much for each other. I haven't run into Ron in years, so it was good to hear about all of the places his life took...

I'm sorry to hear about Ron's passing, especially at such a young age. Ron was a friend of mine when I worked at WILX. The last time I saw him was probably 1987, so it's been awhile. I can remember that because it was the year I crashed my car (which Ron had helped me buy), so he drove me around to dealers to look at other cars. At that point, he said he wanted to move out of state, so I never heard from him again, although I don't think he went either. I've always wondered what happened to...
