Tameka is survived by her mother, Minerva Fleanders Socco, 3 daughters, Laneka & Brinisha Fleanders and Alaisha Jackson, all of Lafayette, LA.; 1 grandson, Deion Williams of Lafayette, LA; 7 sisters, Shari S. Brown of Gibson, LA, Anastasia Fleanders of Baton Rouge, LA., Wendy Prater, Amina, Fatuma, Novella & Mariya Fleanders, all of Lafayette, LA; 5 brothers, Buck Fleanders of Baton Rouge, LA; Walter & Hezekiah Fleanders, Salem Saleh, & Jaheim Davis, all of Lafayette, LA; 1 Godchild Ayanna Fleanders of Lafayette, LA; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives & friends. Tameka was preceded in death by her father, David Lee Sims; her granddaughter, Naja Fleanders; her maternal grandparents, Geneva Socco & Alton Fleanders Sr; he paternal grandparents, Harry Sims, Ellen R. Sims Williams & Clarence Williams; her sister Suzie Saleh and her niece Suzie Saleh.
