ONE OF THE BEST PEOPLE I EVER KNEW...ALWAYS THERE FOR ME...THANK YOU , RON, FOR BEING....JACK ENGLISH, BEVERLY HILLS, CALIF..FILM & TV..ETC.....JAN 28,2024

I had the distinct pleasure to have been great friends with Ron when I first moved to Los Angeles from the UK in the early 70's. Numerous funny and extraordinary memories working with Ron on exciting entertainment projects in Australia, London, Rome and Hawaii. He loved great food, loved to entertain and was in fact a great cook. He really was my best friend, confidant and advisor. He went way too soon. RIP my friend.

I was a cousin through marriage with Nona joy Belle mom did not really know him but my dad did he was a part of our family at one time god bless him.

He was a great friend

I met Ron when I first moved to Los Angeles from London in the mid-'70s. We were close friends and enjoyed many successful business deals over the years. We also shared our fondness for fine wines and gourmet food. I met so many people through Ron but I will always miss his sense of humor and great stories, not to mention so many escapades and laughs with Nicky Blair, Jack English and Gray Frederickson. My fondest love to his beautiful daughter Belle.

I met Ron on 'An Evening At The Improv'in 1982. I was the first P.A. on the show and Ron you might say took me under his wing. Whenever he had a project, he would call me to work with him. I had the pleasure of meeting Sammy Davis Jr.,Sonny Bono and so many other incredible people working with Ron. He introduced me to Nicky Blair and I was Nicky's personal assistant for 3 years while he was opening his restaurant. I have so many fond memories of sitting and talking with Ron in his apt. I will...

To this very day I still think about him. Ron was a wonderful talented photographer. He did more than I thought. I recall he took professional photos of the Ice Skating Friends. I was young at that time and how true this was I have no idea. They told me his work was absolutely brilliant. Then in the late 70's I had a photo taken at the rink by a very handsome dark haired gentleman. No name was exchanged but, this photo haunts me to this day,Was this his work I have no idea. No name was on the...

Fifty years ago, when I was 9, Mr. Joy was hired to do a promo photo shoot of me for the sake of advancing the career I was expected to have (I was then singing with Don Ho). While the career never really materialized, the charming photos remain...as do the memories of a kind gentleman who didn't talk down to a little girl. It was great fun, and I owe him for some delightful childhood memories.
