Not sure what to say?

Dear Fran: it has been several decades since we last were in touch. But I just saw Ron's obituary and wish to send my sincere sympathy to you and your girls. You and Ron had a long marriage making his passing all the more painful.
My family just said goodbye to my older brother Jeffrey the day before Thanksgiving following a botched simple surgery. Jeff was 77. I do hope Ron's passing was peacefull.
I remember him as a sweet man with an engaging smile. My sincere best wishes to you,...

This is only 3+ years late but I just learned of Ron's passing today when I was at the Attorney General's office. I am so sorry. While I was in the AG's office, Ron and I had lunch together a number of times and had good conversations. This was years after we knew each other from Massachusetts Citizens Against the Death Penalty, which we both strongly opposed. I miss him and trust that his family will keep its many memories of his kindness in their hearts always. Alan Jay Rom

May memory of your god works and humanity live forever

Frances, I just learned of your loss. My sincere condolences to you and your family.

Julia:

Thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family at this difficult time. Although you suffered a significant loss, just remember that happy memories of your dad will live on forever!

Julia,

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Julia and family, I am sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. Keep the spirit in your heart through the next few days and forever in his memory.

We wish to extend our deepest sympathies to Ron's family on his passing. Ron was an outstanding lawyer who enjoyed a very diverse, interesting and distinguished career. But most importantly, he will always be remembered as a true gentleman, a man of his word and a friend to many. He will be missed.

Sincerely,

The Lawyers and Staff at K&L Gates LLP (formerly Kirkpatrick & Lockhart/Warner & Stackpole).

I met my dear friends Ron & Fran (otherwise known as Ronky and Francella)63 (!)years ago in our first year in Medford High. Many wonderful memories of this brilliant, wildly amusing, and privately generous friend were brought up this past weekend at our Class of 1955 60th reunion held in Stoneham. Ronky was of course not there in oerson, but our remembrances were at once vivid and delightful and tender and awesome. I will always miss him.
