Not sure what to say?

Ron was my nearest colleague during the years (1979-85) when I was settled as a newly minted minister to the First Unitarian Church of Sioux City. I fondly recall monthly meetings with him and other nearby colleagues (Charles Stephen in Lincoln, along with 2nd church's ministers, Betty Pingel and Jane Mauldin). I particularly remember and celebrate Ron's devotion to the poetry of Walt Whitman as a guide for life. He was a fine colleague!

I speak for myself and on behalf of retired colleagues in Unitarian Universalist ministry -- Ron will be missed. He was an effective minister while also keeping his family life a priority. Condolences to Anne and the entire family.

We have many memories of challenges, discussions, adventures and fabulous sermons during the time we were privileged to know Ron. We wont be at the memorial service in person, but online from Colorado, and with you all in spirit. Love to all who loved Ron. He won't be forgotten. Sandi and Bill Bruns

Single Memorial Tree

Ron introduced me to transcendentalist literature and it stayed with me. He was a great speaker and my favorite preacher.
