Ronald Lee Kniola

Only knew Ron in the last year on the pickle ball courts, but he was always a cheerful presence and I was shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. The neighborhood will be a little less beautiful without you, Ron.

I was shocked to hear this evening of Ron´s passing. We went back to Northwest Athletic Club tennis days in the B Division. We spent many hours playing against each other and on the same side of the net in doubles. He helped me when I ran for judge, and I helped him when he ran for mayor. I also had the great honor of performing his wedding. The world is a slightly colder place with Ron gone. I hope we meet again someday, my friend. Perhaps we could even play a friendly set.

I knew Ronnie well in Rotary Club and at the meat market with his dad. In later years, I often played pickleball with him. He was a good guy.
