Not sure what to say?

Mr. Knudsen inspired me to become a middle school teacher. His steady hand guided many young people to grow into the best they could be. Ron, you will be missed but know you have impacted the path that we have taken. Central Valley Class 1977

Ron's signature stands on all us for many reasons and in many ways. Whether through sports, school, life time hobbies, family or friends he touched our lives and hearts. He showed us competition, humility in winning and honor in giving it our best. I was lucky. I transitioned with "Mr. Knudsen" through Greenacres Junior Hi and on to CV. Six very beneficial and truly formative years. My best memory is of how he scared his palm. Great story. Great guy. His spirit gives us hope.

My husband and I bought a small donkey from Ron and named him Quetzacoatl. Ron was a fine teacher and colleague. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Please accept our sympathies, Kelly and extended family. Your Dad was an amazing man ... that he was a beloved teacher and inspiring coach was the cherry on top. Please know that many share your grief, only confirming that his life was one well lived.

Such sad news. Brings back many wonderful memories of Ron, his family and my childhood at Liberty Lake. he was a wonderful person and teacher. My sympathies to Linda and family, and his brother Cliff and family.

When I was in high school I could run like the wind. Mr. Knudsen recognized this talent and tried to convince me to join the track team. He even met with my dad to have him try to persuade me. Regrettably, I never did. However, as I got older I learned to appreciate the value of a great teacher/coach. Mr. Knudsen was such a man. RIP

I had Mr Knudsen for history. I loved his class. I have loved to read history ever since . Class of 1978

I will miss you big brother. Loved you so much.
