As I am grilling today, I fondly think about my wonderful neighbor Ron and all the fun we had swapping food, he made being locked in during covid bearable he is greatly missed...

Ron was the best neighbor....as I fire up my grill this weekend, I will be using utensils that he gifted to me....my quirky dog (as he called him) ChiliBean misses him as well....

Ron was a friend for many years. We loved cooking and sharing recipes and experiences. He was with a group of us ona trip to Paris. His fist! He had signed up for a cooking class at Escoffier on the afternoon of our arrival and the bus driver
made sure we got there on time. So many good memories. May his memory be a blessing!

I met Ron through my work at the Genesee County Health Department. He served on our Food Service Advisory Board and he helped develop our Restaurant Excellence Awards Program. He was a class act and person of ethics and integrity. I also met him again later working on a political cause we had in common. On January 20, 1999 at an advisory board meeting, Ron hand wrote for me his pizza dough recipe on the back of our meeting agenda. I am making it today in his memory. Photo attached. I am glad...

Ron was more than just my neighbor, he became a close and dear friend as we both shared health challenges. I will greatly miss our grilling and sharing our plates of barbecue...he is and will continue to be greatly missed. Rest easy my friend and know that you made living a Knollwood a pleasure❤
