I have fond memories of spending time with Mr. and Mrs. Kuban when I lived in Ohio and during their visits to Virginia. I am thankful I had the chance to know Mr. Kuban, laugh at his remarkable sardonic wit, witness how passionately he cared for his children and grand children, see the beauty of his art, and admire the deep loyalty of his love for his lovely wife. I was so priviledged to know Ron,as one of his caregivers in his home, I witnessed first hand his remarkable courage and great spirit. I will always remember that every time I left their home he would caution me to "be very careful driving".He had many talents, particularly as an artist,as evidenced by his paintings,displayed in his home.
