Rev. Lawson was born on December 21, 1934 and passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2018. Rev. Lawson was a resident of Vermont at the time of passing. He attended school locally, graduating from Montpelier High School in 1952. Upon graduation in 1956 he was commissioned a 2 nd Lieutenant in the US Army. A Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 am in Wednesday September 5, 2018 at St. Augustine's Church, 16 Barre Street, Montpelier. (Mr.) Lawson, as we knew him then, taught English & Latin at Northfield (VT) High School during the 1968-1969 school year. In his brief time with us, he positively impacted the lives of his students. Several of us even attended his ordination into the priesthood, as I remember. I'm sure many of us have never forgotten him. What a life he led! My condolences to his family.
