Ronald Jay LeMaster, writer, photographer, coach, and educator, was killed on at Eldora Mountain's Windmill run when he was suddenly struck from behind. Ron was born in Denver, August 27, 1949, to Burt and Betty LeMaster and always a curious little boy, he remained that way throughout his life....

Words cannot describe how heartbroken I am to hear the terribly sad news about Ron. One of the best times of my life was training and skiing with Ron during the 1978 - 1979 school year as part of the CU Racing Club "B Team" program. Ron was a great coach, instructor, motivator, and friend. Ron always had a big smile on his face, and a kind (& funny) remark woven into wonderful skiing instructions. I will always miss my gentle friend.

Ron did some software teaching for me. He was kind, competent, and funny. Probably other good things, but it was 25 years ago. I'm sorry for your loss. What a shock.
