Not sure what to say?

I enjoyed playing baseball with him in Tawas while I was in the Air Force stationed I Oscoda we become good friends

I hadn't seen RON in over 50+ years but as avid Baseball Fans throughout Grammar School and our teens, we spent many hours playing together and against one another each pushing the other to be a better Ball Player. I can never remember RON as ever being "negative", win or lose. And from what others are saying about RON in his later Life . that attitude seems to have continued.

I am so sorry to hear about Ron's death. I just talked to him a few summers ago. He was always an upbeat guy, smiling and being positive. We were cabin mates at the Thunder Bay Resort in Alpena while we both attended ACC. I remember Ron and Teddy (Ron's beagle) always ready to go to Lud's for a burger. He was a good friend and even though time passed (years) we talked as though we were still roommates. Rest in Peace, Ron.

Dear Laura & Family
Our deepest sympathy
We dealt with Ron on a professional level for many years working at the community center, what a Great guy he was.
When ever I went to see Ron I could always count on a lot of laughter! He will be missed!

Ron, super nice guy who always greeted you with a smile. Watched Ron pitch and play independent baseball growing up in Tawas, and was fortunate to play with and for Ron after my junior year of high school. To the Leslie Family so sorry for your loss of Ron.

Sincerely,

Mickey Haglund

My deepest sympathy to Ron's family. Ron was a friend of my husbands' and Bob always enjoyed the times they spent together. Ron was here for me last year when my Bob "went fishing" and even though I can't be there for you in person you are in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless.
