There's really not enough words to say about what this man meant to me. Having known him my whole life was truly something special. The life lessons he taught and instilled in so many people is what I will always remember. Growing up there became distance in the relationship but every time I would see him nothing ever changed he was always driving me to be the best person I could be and get on the best path for success. It's rare these days to find a man like what he was. He's truly gonna be...

It was a pleasure to coach with Ron, and it was honor to call him my Friend ... and together we were apart of the greatest football staff in "2008"...

Sarge and "Masso"
Chad and Tracey and family,
Our deepest condolences. Ron was an outstanding coach. We feel so privileged to of had our son coached by him. He made them work hard and represent their families and community with pride. He always did it out of love. He will be truly missed. The picture is one of my favorite, Sarge and "Masso". Thoughts and prayers to all of you.

To The Longfellow Family,
I am absolutely numb upon learning of Ronnie's passing.......
My friendship with the Longfellow family dates back to our days at Revere High School in the latter '50's. That friendship continued over the years as we stopped by Ronnie's home often for a quick 'hello' and always found him willing to chat. We tried, in vain, to get together for dinner over the last couple years and never got to hook-up but the attempts gave us a chance to visit and...

Tracy, Chad and Holly- your dad always has a way with words. When we were kids he always made sure we were having a good time, but safe. God wrapped his arms around a true angel and placed him in the ball field of dreams! My deepest sympathy to you all! Ronnie- you will be missed greatly...Rest in peace my friend.

When I started coaching with Sarge, I felt like one of his players for he instructed me so. As I've heard club members say that the kids "loathed him at first, by the end, loved forever" He was the reason I was proud to introduce myself as Coach Fritz, Greentown Football.
