Not sure what to say?

It was a true honor to be considered a friend by Ron. Nothing I could say would add to the accurate and well written obituary published in the Ledger. I hope you enjoy the pease that you fought so hard to provide SemperFi

Was a very good friend a gentle giant master of scratch ticket. Will be missed. He was a very proud veteran to all that knew him . So sorry for your loss

Went into service with Ronnie. He always had your back. Will never forget him. Take care Paul.

Such a generous man. During my years as Scout leader he privately paid for many Scout's dues and camping fees. Always enjoyed his conversations. A true original.

My condolences to the entire Marcella family. I’ll never forget Ronnie’s many stories, his quick wit, his kindness and generosity that he always had for others. He was such a great friend to myself and Donnie. I don’t know how I would have survived Don’s illness without Ronnie’s constant help. A man who never mixed words about how he felt, lived life his way and loved Sara and his kids more than anything. Rest in sweetest peace my friend. May you hit the big scratch off in the sky❤❤

I am just thinking of Ron and Sarah and all the wonderful things they’ve done in their lifetime.I’ve known them for quite some time and have always valued their friendship and admired them as parents with the kindest, biggest heart. Jenna,Mariah,Christian and Jessica
I know all the beautiful memories of and with your mom and dad will get you through and you will past all that love onto your own children they are watching down on you keep making them proud .143 XOXO

Mr. Marcella,
Sir, as a fellow Marine I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the USMC in Vietnam fighting the NVA and VC. It was the history and accomplishments made by you and your fellow Marines of the “Old Corps” back then that all us Marines who followed in your footsteps have have always tried to live up to. And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Semper Fi Devil Dog!

I remember all the Marcellas from back in the day when our parents were boating and running buddies. I remember how that name being spoken by my parents meant an island evening picnic for the parents. I remember the dives from the town pier, and the swims through to the lagoon, and the lobster boats, and all the fun that growing up with such good friends meant in the sixties and such.
God bless Ronnie, who is now reunited with his parents, family and friends who have gone before. Make...
