Not sure what to say?

I, too, had Mr Marks as one of my science teachers at JE. I will always remember his smiling whenever he walked through the halls. Time goes by too fast. My condolences to his family. Mary Venditti. Class of `71

Loved him as my science teacher in 1971. Wrote a recommendation that got me into military school. My deepest sympathy to the entire family. He was a good man.Peter Haske

On behalf of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Comfort Tyler Chapter (Syracuse), we send our condolences to the family. Forget Me Not Don´t remember me not with sadness, Don´t remember me with tears, Remember all the laughter, We´ve shared throughout the years, Now I am contented, That my life it was worthwhile. I started teaching at JE in 1984 and wish I was able to articulate better what Ron meant to me as I was at the beginning of my career. My time overlapped only a handful of years with the end of his career, but he left a lasting impression. I still remember how sad I was when he retired. I was just telling a Ron Mark's story recently then I read this in the paper. I hope he knew what a significant impact he made on so many in the JE community.

Mr. Marks was my teacher in Elbridge and made me love science. My daughter will defend her PhD thesis in Astrophysics next month and I have to think Mr Marks could take a little credit. I bet he was a great dad and grandfather and I´m sure you´ll miss him a lot.

Mr. Marks was one of my high school science teachers. He and his wife Doje led my Girl Scout troop on camping/hiking trips in the Adirondacks. I later reconnected with them when I subbed at Port Byron Schools. They were wonderful people. Condolences to their family.

Rest In Peace, Mr. Marks. You were a terrific teacher that made an impression on us all at J-E.
