RON and I were station together at Lakenheath England and if my memory serves...we were both promoted to lieutenant colonel at the same time combining our ceremonies which would´ve been around 2000 or 2001. We worked closely together as I was the health promotion manager for the base, and Ron had implemented the new preventive health assessment program for the wing. I learned a lot from his experience and expertise, and he was a great friend and colleague. I am truly saddened by his passing...

Many thoughts and prayers to family and friends for the loss of a most wonderful man, coworker, and nurse. He was an extraordinary role model for all 92d Medical Group staff. Having followed in his footsteps as a diabetes educator and Disease Management Coordinator, I am very proud to say I learned from the best. He certainly was my friend, mentor, and hero in uniform and beyond. May great memories give you solace during this most difficult time.
